Owning a flourishing restaurant has been Chef Franklin's lifelong dream. The ambition first took root in a high school business class, when an instructor asked her to name a business she'd like to own; her humble reply was, "A hotdog stand." Little did she know that this early vision was the seed of a culinary passion that would grow and follow her throughout her life.

The dream truly began to take shape when an advertisement for culinary school caught her eye, and the rest, as they say, is history. Chef Franklin pursued her passion wholeheartedly, graduating in 2010 from the Culinary Arts AAS program at the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago. Accredited by the prestigious American Culinary Federation.

After graduating, Chef Franklin launched her career by catering events, working as a private chef, and sharing her expertise by teaching culinary arts at several Chicago high schools. She is celebrated for her commitment to crafting dishes that boast both exceptional flavor and beautiful aesthetic appeal.
